Your starting point.

Already have solar, starting fresh, or thinking ahead to an EV? Let’s start with your home and what you want to change.

01

Keep your solar.

Bring the inverter model and a recent bill. We’ll check the existing equipment and how a SigenStor system would connect.

Good questions.
Plain answers.

Five useful places to start. The detail is here when you need it.

Will SigenStor work with my home and solar?

Start with your electricity supply and the equipment already there.

SigenStor pairs an Energy Controller with battery modules. The controller handles solar conversion and energy management; the modules provide storage. Bring your existing inverter model and a recent bill so we can check the connection, array and supply phase. Adding storage does not automatically mean replacing working solar. Your quote identifies the complete system, rather than treating a battery-module price as the installed system price.

What storage, backup and future additions should I plan for?

Usable storage, controller output and backup are separate decisions.

Start with evening energy use. Your quote names the battery model, module count and usable capacity. Adding modules later needs a compatible controller, supported arrangement and enough space. The illustration is not a promised stack.

Backup uses a separate Sigen Energy Gateway and agreed circuits. Battery charge, controller output and appliance starting loads affect what runs together.

EV DC charging is an optional module; a separate AC charger may suit the parking position better. Vehicle compatibility, software and local requirements must be checked, especially before including vehicle-to-home operation. The DC module page explains the charging options and separate after-sale app upgrade.

What warranty and local support are included?

10 years battery and controller; 3 years optional EV DC module. PSW cover is separate.

The current AU/NZ SigenStor warranty gives the battery and Energy Controller ten years; the optional EV DC module has three years. Battery performance cover is 70% usable energy for ten years or the applicable throughput, whichever comes first: BAT 6.0, 22.19 MWh; BAT 10.0, 33.29 MWh. Throughput is recorded by the product controller. Registration, connectivity and operating conditions apply; more than one year offline reduces manufacturer cover to five years from original activation. Extended warranty is separate.

PSW’s installation and service cover is 10 years for the battery system and 5 years for EV charging equipment. For equipment supplied and installed by PSW, from installation completion, only where your signed installation agreement includes this commitment. Your written quote confirms whether it does. Existing longer promises and Australian Consumer Law rights remain unchanged. Manufacturer warranties apply separately on their own terms.

PSW Life Support is your local contact after handover. Keep your equipment and installation records; the manufacturer warranty documents and support links are below.

Full specifications

Battery modules, controller output and Gateway equipment have separate specifications. The current Australian battery datasheet identifies BAT 6.0 and BAT 10.0; older family documents can show earlier modules. Your quote identifies the selected equipment.
