Battery connection and backup depend on the exact model and installation.

GEN24 Plus supports compatible batteries. A plain GEN24 needs the applicable UP.storage activation before battery use; do not assume it is included. PV Point supplies a dedicated backup outlet, subject to available energy and installation. Full Backup needs a compatible battery and external switching equipment, and is unavailable on Symo GEN24 3.0–5.0 Plus. We confirm supported batteries, firmware and circuits in your quote.

Eligible Fronius models can receive ten years with registration and a warranty claim.

Fronius's Australian ten-year Warranty Plus offer covers eligible GEN24 and GEN24 Plus equipment installed by 31 December 2026. Solar.web registration and claiming the extension within 24 months are required. Confirm the model, registration and applicable terms; ten years is not automatic for every installation. PSW’s separate installation and service warranty is 10 years. For equipment supplied and installed by PSW, from installation completion, only where your signed installation agreement includes this commitment. Your written quote confirms whether it does. Existing longer promises and Australian Consumer Law rights remain unchanged. Manufacturer warranties apply separately on their own terms. Keep the model, serial number, registration and handover documents. PSW Life Support is your local contact after installation.

Your quote records the exact model, mounting, metering, electrical work, commissioning and handover. Replacing an existing inverter needs an itemised quote; the package contribution is not a replacement price.

AUD guide includes GST and the inverter contribution to base installation within a new-system package. Panels, storage, backup equipment, battery activation where applicable and additional site work are separate. No battery rebate or complete-system price is inferred from this inverter amount.
