Will GoodWe ESA work with my home and solar?
The supply phase and existing inverter are the starting point.
ESA has separate single-phase and three-phase families, with AC-coupled and hybrid connection options. They are not interchangeable. We check your inverter, supply and switchboard before recommending how storage connects. Your existing panels may be able to stay; the quote names the selected inverter and battery modules.
What storage, backup and future additions should I plan for?
Start with the energy used after sunset and the solar available to store.
Bring a recent bill and any solar monitoring history. ESA is modular, but the module type, count and future expansion must suit the selected system. Your quote records usable storage.
Backup is designed around agreed circuits, running and starting loads, battery charge and system output. An all-in-one battery does not automatically back up every appliance. An EV charger is a separate part of the design, so tell us about that plan too.
What warranty and local support are included?
Inverter: 10 years. Australian battery terms still need confirming.
GoodWe's Australian inverter warranty Rev5.8 lists the ESA EHA-G20 hybrid power module with ten-year cover, starting at installation or twelve months after production, whichever is earlier. Battery warranty is separate; this does not establish Australian cover for every ESA battery module.
We have not yet confirmed the applicable Australian manufacturer warranty for the GW9.0-BAT-D-G20 battery module. The inverter’s term does not establish the battery’s cover. Your quote must identify the exact battery and its Australian warranty document before you agree.
PSW’s installation and service cover for the battery system is 10 years. For equipment supplied and installed by PSW, from installation completion, only where your signed installation agreement includes this commitment. Your written quote confirms whether it does. Existing longer promises and Australian Consumer Law rights remain unchanged. Manufacturer warranties apply separately on their own terms.

Use the Australian datasheet for the nominated family. The full manufacturer tables cover inverter ratings, usable storage, dimensions, operating limits and backup; single-phase figures must not be carried across to a three-phase system.

Your written quote names the ESA inverter, battery modules and usable storage, connection design, backup equipment and installation scope. It confirms any applicable rebates for the nominated equipment.
The guide covers its stated system and inclusions. Solar panels are separate. Backup and charging items without a verified price stay outside the guide and are quoted separately; extra site work is itemised.
