How is Neo different from SigenStor?
Neo brings the solar inverter, battery conversion, energy management and backup module into one stack. The existing SigenStor range uses a separate Energy Gateway for backup and offers its own component choices. They are separate product families. We’ll compare the available Australian configurations around your home and any EV charging plans.
Can Neo work with the solar I already have?
Sigenergy describes a Smart Port for connecting supported existing inverters and other equipment. That does not make every solar system compatible. We’ll check your inverter, electricity supply and switchboard against the selected Australian model before recommending a retrofit.
How much storage should I choose?
Start with the energy you use after sunset and the solar you have available to store. A recent bill and your solar monitoring history help. Neo uses stackable battery modules, but usable capacity, the permitted combination and future expansion need to be confirmed for the Australian equipment on your quote.
What can it power during a blackout?
Neo’s design includes an integrated backup module. What stays on still depends on the selected system’s output, battery charge, your appliance loads and the circuits connected for backup. We’ll agree those circuits with you. The preliminary European flyer’s switching and peak-output figures are not confirmed Australian installation ratings.
Can I include an EV charger?
Yes, an EV can be part of the home’s energy plan. We’ll specify the charger and check its connection, vehicle compatibility and power requirements separately. Neo’s Smart Port is not the SigenStor EV DC charging module, and bidirectional charging is not included simply by choosing a Neo battery.
Is Neo available, and what warranty applies?
We’re confirming the Australian Neo range, local availability and installation requirements. The early flyer is preliminary and describes European models. We have not confirmed the manufacturer warranty for the exact Australian Neo equipment, and SigenStor’s warranty does not establish Neo’s cover. Before we recommend or quote a system, we’ll confirm the Australian model, usable storage, manufacturer warranty, approvals, any rebate eligibility and installed price.
PSW’s installation and service cover for a battery system we supply and install is 10 years. For equipment supplied and installed by PSW, from installation completion, only where your signed installation agreement includes this commitment. Your written quote confirms whether it does. Existing longer promises and Australian Consumer Law rights remain unchanged. Manufacturer warranties apply separately on their own terms.
PSW Life Support is your local contact after handover. Your written agreement records the equipment and applicable cover.

Neo combines its backup module with the inverter and battery system. The circuits it supplies and the power they need are agreed as part of the installation design.

SigenStor has its own place.
