No physical modifications are required. The capability is already built into the hardware and is activated digitally via the mySigen app.
By purchasing and activating the SigenStor EVDC 25kW Fast Charging License, customers can significantly reduce EV charging times and make better use of available energy—ideal for households with higher daily driving needs or multiple EVs.

How the upgrade works
Open the mySigen app and visit the Mall section.
Purchase the SigenStor EVDC 25kW Fast Charging License with a credit card.
Receive your License Key, copy it, and activate it on your specific EVDC device.
Note: For older EVDC models, a free replacement nameplate will be provided and must be installed to meet local regulatory requirements.
Understanding real-world charging power
The license allows for a power limit of 25 kW, but the actual charging power at any given time depends on the available energy from the following sources:
PV power (solar output varies with irradiance),
Battery energy (more battery packs enable higher output),
Grid power (limited by the inverter’s rated capacity).
The SigenStor EVDC charger offers two modes:
PV Surplus Charging: Uses PV and batteries.
Fast Charging: Uses PV, batteries, and grid power.
If your system does not consistently reach the 25 kW limit, this is normal and not indicative of a fault. Performance is determined by the availability of energy in real time.
