PSW Energy (including Perth Solar Warehouse) is proud to announce the appointment of Nicole Bilman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 2 February 2026.
This appointment is a major milestone for PSW Energy—and an important moment for the industry. As a woman leading one of Western Australia’s most trusted renewable energy providers, Nicole’s promotion reflects both the company’s growth and the changing face of solar leadership: practical, accountable, and performance-driven.
Core achievements
- Scaled PSW Energy from a 10-person business to a 50+ person operation, lifting delivery capacity and strengthening service coverage.
- Led PSW through internationally recognised ISO certification with Bureau Veritas: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (WHS), and ISO 14001 (Environment), embedding audited systems and consistent standards.
- Elevated operational performance and customer experience by tightening end-to-end processes (sales-to-install-to-aftercare), improving consistency, accountability, and delivery reliability across the business.
Nicole joined PSW Energy more than five years ago as Administration Manager, progressed to General Manager, and now steps into the CEO role. During that time, PSW has grown from a team of 10 to more than 50 people. For our customers, this growth has translated into stronger resources, more transparent processes, and a consistently positive experience—from the initial consultation through installation and long-term support.
A defining aspect of Nicole’s leadership has been her commitment to raising standards behind the scenes, ensuring that customers feel the difference in their experience. Under her guidance, PSW Energy has achieved internationally recognised ISO certifications through Bureau Veritas: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). These frameworks help us operate with disciplined systems, foster a strong safety culture, and promote continuous improvement, because solar is a long-term investment, and our delivery must reflect that reality.
“Nicole has earned this appointment through consistency, high standards, and an ability to build capability across the whole organisation,” said Derek McKercher, Director of PSW Energy. “She leads with calm discipline, backs our people, and has helped shape a culture where customers feel supported long after the install. This move is the natural next step for PSW.”
What changes can customers and partners expect? In the short term, not much—and that’s intentional. Nicole will continue overseeing day-to-day operations while building out PSW Energy’s executive team over the next six months. This ensures continuity, maintains service levels, and strengthens our leadership capacity as the business enters its next phase of growth.
This upcoming stage includes a significant cross-city expansion, with PSW Energy scheduled to open a new location in Neerabup in late March 2026. This presence will enhance service coverage across Perth’s northern corridor, support faster logistics and scheduling, and increase capacity as more households and businesses transition to solar, battery storage, and electrification.
Nicole brings over a decade of experience in the electrical and renewable energy industries. Her leadership style is grounded and outcomes-driven, focusing on empowering teams, improving operational efficiency, and delivering a customer experience that is structured, transparent, and reliable. She also represents a growing number of women shaping the future of Australia’s energy transition—not as a mere headline, but through capability, standards, and results.
As Western Australia’s shift toward electrification accelerates, PSW Energy remains dedicated to being a long-term, community-inspired provider, helping homeowners and businesses adopt sustainable energy with confidence. Nicole’s appointment is a clear signal of where we’re headed next: deeper capability, stronger partnerships, and the same unwavering commitment to doing the job right.
