Let’s get your monitoring connection back. An offline app alone does not tell you whether the system has stopped generating.

Before you reconnect

Use your phone, app and home router for these checks. Do not open covers, unplug modules, operate breakers or electrical isolators, restart the system or factory-reset equipment.

For a fault message, dead display or tripped breaker, use PSW Life Support. For smoke, burning smells, sparking, unusual heat or visible damage, keep clear and follow the safety advice.

Use the system-owner app

This route uses mySolarEdge for an inverter with the supported Inverter Communication option. Check the inverter model in your paperwork or on a safely visible external label. Screenless and display-equipped models can use different connection methods.

If your app or equipment does not match the official illustrations, contact PSW before using controls on the inverter. Do not substitute installer SetApp instructions or attempt commissioning.

Have these ready

  • Working home internet. Connect your phone to home Wi-Fi and open a webpage. If it will not load, resolve the home connection first.
  • Your Wi-Fi details. Have the current network name and password ready. Enter passwords only in the manufacturer app or confirmed device interface, never in a PSW form or support message.
  • Your usual account. Check you can sign in and see your system. Use account recovery if you cannot.
  • A safe place nearby. Check the phone has a useful Wi-Fi signal near the equipment. Keep router security and system operating settings unchanged.

Reconnect in mySolarEdge

  1. Sign into your existing mySolarEdge account and select your own system.
  2. Open the menu and choose Inverter Communication.
  3. Follow the matched app instructions to connect the phone to the inverter's temporary Wi-Fi. Confirm the device identity before joining. If this would require an unfamiliar physical control or the device network is absent, stop and ask PSW.
  4. Choose Configure, select the home network, enter the current password in mySolarEdge and choose Join.
  5. Return to Inverter Communication and check the result. S_OK indicates communication with SolarEdge's monitoring server.

If the option is missing, your login is not available or your screen asks for installer permissions, use the support path below. Do not power-cycle or reset the inverter to make the menu appear.

Check the latest update

Return your phone to its normal Internet connection and reopen the dashboard. Check the last-update time; Site Details can also show Last Updated. SolarEdge says data is normally updated periodically, rather than continuously, so an unchanged reading immediately after setup is not a reason to repeat all the steps.

S_OK confirms monitoring-server communication. It does not, on its own, establish that generation or battery operation is normal. If data has never appeared for this installation, ask PSW to check monitoring access and commissioning instead of reconnecting repeatedly.

Still offline?

If the screen differs or setup fails, pause rather than repeat another model’s steps.

Send PSW Life Support the model, app, last-update time and the step you reached. A screenshot can help; hide private details and leave out passwords. Only photograph safely visible labels.
