Results were announced at the Hilton in Sydney on 13 October 2026 and published by the Financial Review the next day. The entry was PSW Life Support, our aftercare service for systems we have installed.
In short

- Results were announced at the awards dinner in Sydney on 13 October 2026 and published by the Financial Review on 14 October.

The awards and the category we entered.
The Financial Review runs the Energy Awards with Jemena as its presenting partner. Entry is open to any organisation that operates in or services the Australian energy sector. A Western Australian installer therefore enters the same field as retailers, network businesses and developers working across the country, and is read by the same panel.
The Financial Review describes the Customer Experience award as recognising "organisations that are raising the bar in delivering outstanding customer experience and service." Entries were judged on work done between 1 January 2025 and 10 June 2026. In each category the panel chooses a shortlist of up to five finalists and names one of them the winner. The entry kit also says the judges take into account, wherever possible, the scale, resources and challenges of each entrant.
This year's panel included Jackie Trad of the Clean Energy Council, Ian Learmonth of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Dominic Adams of Energy Networks Australia, Lynne Gallagher of the Australian Energy Regulator board, Tony Wood of the Grattan Institute, Sonia Fourie of Jemena and Ryan Cropp of the Financial Review.
PSW Life Support, the entry.
The entry was titled PSW Life Support (Modern Energy Aftercare Architecture). It covered the part of owning a solar or battery system that comes after installation, once the system is commissioned and the household is living with it.
PSW Life Support is the aftercare service for systems we have installed. Customers can use its self-service diagnostics and guides at any hour. Our team gives direct help Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm AWST. Alongside it is the project hub, where a customer can follow the approval process, view important documents and see how a project is progressing before and after installation. The client portal that brings these together is now in its second generation.
The aim is practical: easier access to help, and less time with a system out of action when something goes wrong.
A finalist's place.
The judges chose EnergyAssist as the winner. On EnergyAustralia's own account, the program has supported customers in financial hardship for more than 20 years, and in 2025 its people made 46,300 home visits before disconnection. That work sits at a different scale from ours. We were shortlisted beside it.
An independent panel, with members from across the sector and from the Financial Review itself, read an account of how a Perth installer looks after its customers once the job is done, and put it on the shortlist. That is all a finalist's place says. For a business whose reputation is made one household at a time, it is enough.
Support stays the same.
Nothing changes for customers. The support line is still (08) 6171 4111, Mon–Fri 9am–4pm AWST. Requests are lodged the same way, through the PSW Life Support page. The work that was shortlisted is the work our customers already see, and it continues as before.
If you own a PSW Energy system and something is not behaving as it should, start with PSW Life Support. If you are comparing installers and would like to see how aftercare works before you sign anything, ask us to show you.
