The researched choice for solar, battery & EV charging – Western Australia

The night four badges got Perth Solar Warehouse’s name

In May, in a conference hall in Sydney, an analyst’s spreadsheet became four physical awards. Each one had Perth Solar Warehouse printed on it. Nobody from the group wrote a submission, polished an entry, or pitched a judging panel. SunWiz just counted.

TLDR

That is the part worth telling as a story, because the story did not happen in Sydney. It happened in 2025, in the suburbs across Perth, Western Australia.

It happened every time a designer pulled up a roof in satellite view and queried the export limit before quoting, because a system that looks good on paper and underperforms on the SWIS helps nobody. It happened on roofs in February, when the sensible thing was an early start, and the crews took it. It happened in the service queue: a technician answering a callback about a five-year-old inverter was not generating revenue that day, but was generating something else. And it happened at the desks in Bibra Lake and Neerabup, where the office team turned that activity into scheduled, connected, and signed-off installations.

SunWiz measured the year in two ways. By volume: enough installs to place in Western Australia’s top five for both solar PV and battery storage. And by what customers said afterwards: enough verified reviews, at a high enough rating, to rank second in the state in a category that only admits companies with 50 or more reviews averaging 4.8 stars or better. By SunWiz’s published methodology, clearing that bar at all puts a company in the top 2.5% of solar businesses in Australia.

The fourth award is the quiet one. #1 Local Solar Hero, Perth South West: more households in the home region chose Perth Solar Warehouse than any other installer in 2025, for the second year running. National rankings measure scale. This one measures what the neighbours think.

The badges came back from Sydney and went on the wall at Neerabup. The crews that earned them were on roofs the following Monday, some on residential jobs under the Perth Solar Warehouse name, some on commercial arrays under ours. Same people, same standards, different letterhead. That is why the story gets told on this site, too.

The full breakdown of the four awards is on the Perth Solar Warehouse site. The group announcement is on McKercher Corporation. The work continues either way.
