What’s happening with your system?
If your system is producing smoke, smell, sparking, or visible damage
- Move everyone away from the equipment, the switchboard, and the roof area.
- If there is fire or immediate danger to people, call 000.
- If safe to do so, locate your main switchboard and turn off the solar supply main switch (labelled per AS/NZS 4777.1).
- If you have a battery system, also turn off the battery isolator at the switchboard. Do not touch the battery unit itself.
- If you cannot safely access the switchboard, leave the property and wait for emergency services.
- Once safe, contact PSW Life Support or Western Power.

All systems operating normally. No known service disruptions affecting PSW-installed systems.
3 Apr 2026
Western Power confirmed restoration of normal network conditions in the Joondalup area following planned maintenance. Export limits have returned to standard settings for affected postcodes.
Seasonal advisory: As Perth moves into autumn, expect a gradual reduction in daily solar generation. Shorter days and lower sun angles are normal. Your system is working correctly even if daily output drops from summer levels.
How to read this section: PSW notices relate to our services and seasonal advisories. Manufacturer notices cover monitoring platform outages and firmware updates. Grid notices cover Western Power or Horizon Power events affecting your system. If no disruption is listed and you’re experiencing an issue, it’s likely specific to your installation.
