On 13 March 2026, Sigenergy officially opened the Nantong Smart Energy Centre in Jiangsu Province, China. The event brought together nearly 2,000 guests from over 50 countries: distributors, installation partners, and senior executives across the global energy sector.
PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse attended as a Sigenergy-certified installer delegation, representing Western Australia.

This is not a conventional factory. The facility covers 136,000 square metres and represents an investment of approximately AUD 106 million. It combines advanced research and development, intelligent manufacturing, global logistics, and energy management under one roof.
The production numbers give a sense of the scale. Annual capacity exceeds 300,000 inverters and battery packs. Automated welding lines with CCD visual inspection run at a 99.9% yield rate. Surface-mount technology processes components at a rate of 0.043 per unit per second. The facility produces one battery pack every 15 seconds and one inverter every 21 seconds.
For PSW Energy customers, this matters because the products we install are manufactured here. The Nantong facility is the production backbone behind every SigenStor system
deployed in Western Australia.
Sigenergy's announcments
Sigenergy used the launch to introduce its “AI in All” development strategy, positioning artificial intelligence as a core layer across its product design, energy management, software, and manufacturing processes. For residential customers, this means SigenStor systems are designed to improve over time through software updates and AI-driven energy optimisation, without requiring hardware changes.
Alongside the strategy, Sigenergy previewed a new generation of products across
residential, commercial, and utility-scale categories:
- SigenStor Neo: The next evolution of the home energy system. It builds on SigenStor's modular architecture, with enhanced AI integration and improved adaptability to diverse household energy profiles. What we know ›
- 166kW C&I PV inverter: A commercial and industrial inverter designed for higher power density and simplified solar- plus-storage integration on business premises.
- 500kW utility inverter: A grid-scale product supporting 1650V DC input and 1000V AC systems, aimed at reducing system costs across large solar installations. As a Sigenergy Gold Installer, PSW Energy is positioned to bring these products to Western Australian customers as they reach Australian certification and market availability.

Customer lens
There is a reason we attend events like this. Seeing a manufacturer’s R&D capability, production line, and quality control firsthand gives us a level of product understanding that cannot be replicated from a datasheet. It informs the way we design systems, the confidence we have in warranty support, and the technical guidance we
provide during and after installation.
Being in the room with Sigenergy’s engineering and leadership teams also means we have direct access to product roadmap information, firmware development timelines, and technical support channels that benefit every customer who chooses a Sigenergy system
through PSW Energy or Perth Solar Warehouse.
We have installed SigenStor systems across Perth since the product’s Australian launch in
late 2024. Attending the Nantong Smart Energy Centre inauguration reinforces a relationship that started with PSW being among the first Sigenergy installers in WA and has continued through our Gold Certified Installer status, maintained across both our Bibra Lake and Neerabup locations.
Next
SigenStor Neo, the 166kW C&I inverter, and the 500kW utility inverter are subject to Australian certification before they become available locally. PSW Energy will update customers as each product clears CEC approval and enters the WA market.
For customers considering a Sigenergy system now, the current SigenStor range is available through both PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse. Request a quote or visit our display centre at Bibra Lake or Neerabup to see SigenStor in person.
