An internal observation found a daily commute of 50 km required approximately 10 units per day when subjected to Perth metropolitan driving. Topping this up daily from the sun in smaller fractions has benefits such as lower energy costs (considering both petrol and grid electricity resources).

1. Structure: The listed prices refer to single-level, single-phase and single-roof face dwellings with adequate switchboard accessibility/provisions available to accommodate the additional circuitry or associated components. 

2. Product/ package: The base nominated price uses a Growatt TL-X (5kW) inverter within PSW Installation Zone after the STC Zone 3 subsidy has been deducted as a point-of-sale discount. Additional installation costs may apply to ensure this package meets your needs. Inquire or learn more ›

For the 2024 calendar year, eligible Perth and Bunbury region customers within STC Zone 3 receive a $2426 point-of-sale discount (subsidy) when installing 6.6 kW of solar panels on a 5 kW inverter. An amount that reduces annually.

Based on 64 Small Technology Certificates, a system incorporating 15 x 440 W solar panels and a $38 STC market value.

64 STC’s x $38 value = $2426 subsidy.

For your convenience, the PSW Energy 6.6 kW solar package prices include the subsidy already deducted as a point of sale discount (redeemable by PSW Energy after installation). 

Most residential 6.6 kW solar arrays installed on a 5 kW inverter qualify for the Synergy solar feed-in tariff named; DEBS (Distributed Energy Buyback Scheme).
 
This means you can receive 2.25c ex GST during off-peak and 10c ex GST during peak periods (3pm to 9pm) for each unit (kWh) exported to the grid by your solar energy system.
